Monthly Education

The NRP hosts a variety of educational seminars to support continuing education for research professionals on campus. These programs have been approved by ACRP for contact hours at no cost.

New Coordinator Orientation

This workshop is recommended for all clinical research coordinators (CRCs), research assistants, or research administrators who are new to the research role or new to working at UNC. The course introduces the UNC offices involved in clinical trials, federal and local regulations governing conduct, and provides an overview of best practices utilized in the implementation of clinical research.

Phlebotomy Training for Clinical Research Staff

We offer a phlebotomy course specific to the needs of clinical research staff. You are eligible to take this course if you are employed by the UNC School of Medicine or UNC Health as research staff and are required to draw blood as part of your job.

Symposium for Research Administrators

All research administrators and staff members involved with research are encouraged to participate in this annual symposium offered by the UNC Office of Sponsored Research. Whether you work in a central research or compliance office, are a campus research administrator, a clinical coordinator, finance staff, or a Principal Investigator, this event can benefit your University research administration knowledge.
